CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
David is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and has more than 30 years of international insurance and reinsurance experience. He is a Director and a founding member of the Cayman Islands Reinsurance Company Association ("CIRCA"). Most recently David was Vice President and Chief Risk Officer for Latin America for Aegon and Transamerica for nine years. In that role, David was a senior team member as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Aegon's Latin American operations in Brazil and Mexico. Prior to that, David was Chief Actuary for eight years for two different Latin American greenfield reinsurance operations; Transamerica Reinsurance and American United Life Reinsurance. David began his career with Lincoln Re where he held various reinsurance positions focused on Latin America and the Caribbean including Chief Actuary for Latin America while residing in Buenos Aires, Argentina. David graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ball State University with a B.S. in Actuarial Science.
Greg is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Most recently Greg was Senior Vice President & Actuary for Guggenheim Insurance Services. In that role he was a senior leader in Guggenheim's reinsurance activities and product development and management functions. Prior to that, Greg was Senior Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Actuary of Lafayette Life, responsible for the company's Actuarial, Accounting, and Treasury functions. In more than 25 years of service to the company, he held various positions related to product development, financial reporting, and reinsurance opportunity analysis and management. Additionally, Greg was Vice President, Product Development for Forethought Financial Services. Greg graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hanover College with a B.A. in Mathematics.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Jim is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Cayman Islands Institute of Professional Accountants (CIIPA). Jim has over 25 years of financial services and auditing experience. Most recently Jim was a Senior Vice President as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Willis Towers Watson Management (Cayman) Limited. In this role, Jim was responsible for the management of a diverse portfolio of Cayman captive insurance companies along with Willis Towers Watson's own internal controls and group reporting. Prior to that, Jim worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit and assurance. Jim graduated from the University of Swansea with a B.A. (Hons) in Economics.
Rachel is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and holds the Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst designation. Prior to joining Aureum Re, Rachel held integral risk management and modeling roles at Guggenheim Life and Annuity Company and Western & Southern Financial Group. Rachel has a strong background in product pricing and development, asset liability management, asset adequacy testing, enterprise risk management, business planning, and product management. Rachel graduated with a B.S. and Master's degree from Miami University.
HUMAN RESOURCES AND OFFICE MANAGER
Stacey is an HR professional with over 10 years of experience as an HR business partner within the insurance and financial services industry. Stacey previously held regional and global HR management positions at Aon Insurance Managers (Cayman) Ltd. and MaplesFS where she delivered strategic and operational objectives, primarily focused on organizational development, performance management and talent development. Prior to that Stacey held an operations management role at an international law firm. Stacey holds a SHRM-CP designation from the Society of Human Resource Management and received an Associate degree in Executive Business Administration from Niagara College Canada.
DIRECTOR, CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
Karen is a former health care professional with a primary focus on women's health and fitness. She spent eight years as a breast cancer advocate educating women on breast cancer prevention and counseling survivors. She has over 10 years of experience in coordinating and planning fund-raising and charity events. As the Director of Corporate Responsibility for Aureum Re, Karen is focused on allocating the charitable budget among the many worthy Cayman based organizations with a primary focus on health and education of children and elderly, as well as promoting local artists.
