Our Partners

CCMI
Aureum Re has been an annual supporter of CCMI an their marine research. This year we are pleased to support the Coral Fitness and Resilience program. CCMI has established a successful science-based coral restoration programme and believe that restoration can be a mainstream management tool, replicable across th Caribbean region. The project seeks to boos the wild reef population by improving the fitness of next generation corals, restoring key species to the reef where they can reproduce and survive changing climate.

ClimatePartner
Aureum Re is proud to partner with ClimatePartner in offsetting our carbon footprint by supporting the Clean Oceans Plastic Bank Project in Haiti. The objective of the Clean Ocean Bank Projects is to keep plastic from entering the oceans. In developing nations there is a lack of disposal instrastructure and a greater reliance on single use plastic which results in a disportionate amount of plastic pollution. Plastic Bank provides income opportunities to the impoverished. People can collect plastic, bring it to their local Plastic Bank branch in exchange for money, fresh food, clean water, cellular service or school tuition. Collectors are paid a premium in addition to the market plastic value which provides a liveable income. Collected plastic is recycled and processed into Social Plastic which can be purchased to produce environmentally and socially eithical products.
